Headlight Glass Identification

Headlight glass is often incorrect without the owner's knowning.

Below I will start to identify various part numbers;

 

BUS

 

Barndoor glass

BD Glass

Non-barndoor, but still symmetrical lenses

Samba Glass

1955/1956 Bus symmetrical Lenses (with the 'A' and 'NL' markings)

55-56 Bus Glass

Bosch headlight part numbers include the manufacturing date, ie within the part number '401' is read as '4' = 1964 and '01' = January
