185R15 is more commonly described as 185/80 R15 but can also be described as 185 x 15 or 185/80 - 15 or 185-15 or 185R15

Manual diameter - 27.1" +/- 0.24"  (Modern spec' 26.7")

After chassis number 1222026 ('64 onwards)

5JK x 14"

185R14 is more commonly described as 185/80R14 but can also be described as 185 x 14 or 185/80 - 14 or 185 R 14

Manual diameter - 26.22" +/- 0.24"  (Modern spec' 25.7")

Note:

If a later Split, ('64 onwards) is fitted with 15" rims, as they commonly are, but wants to maintain the rolling diameter of a factory correct 14" wheel then a 185/70R15 is the closest option.
