Fire Suppression System
AFFF-AF Foam Filled
Fully automatic Fire Suppression system designed specifically for VW camper engine bays.
To date, this type of Fire Suppression System is known to have saved 8 Splits or Bay campers.
Simple to install in the engine bay with basic tools.
If a fire ignites, as the result of a component failure or an accident, the flame temperature breaks the dispersion tube emptying the foam directly where it is needed.
Foam filled systems (AFFF Aqueous Film Forming Foam) are ideal in multi risk situations involving both Class A combustible materials and Class B flammable liquid.
More specifically fires involving oils, spirits, fats, engines, mobile plant and plastics.
The blanketing effect of foam spray gives rapid knock down which smothers the flame and thus prevents re-ignition by sealing the surface of the solution in addition to the cooling properties of foam.
The foam suppressant is non corrosive and easily washed away after activation.
Each unit is made to order, dispatch typically within 5 days & the price includes shipping within mainland UK.
